Kimaya Malwade is a designer based in New York City. Malwade has studied Industrial Design at Parsons School of Design and has a MFA in interaction design from SVA.
By studying two design disciplines, she has enriched her approach to human interaction - research and iterative testing. She is an advocate for accessibility and is passionate about user-centricity and designing simple and elegant forms with functionality as the main focus.
She has worked on the design teams of JP Morgan, Citibank, Blockfi, Fantasy, Fohr and Loeb, creating and revamping digital products. Working with a diverse team of product managers and developers helped her become a conscientious team player who can listen, synthesize, and translate ideas into impactful products.
She is currently looking for opportunities in UI/UX Design and hopes to create products that are inclusive and empower the user.
